Inpatient medically monitored detoxification and stabilization programs with motivational counseling and education are available at Greenwich Hospital’s Alcohol and Drug Detox program. Medical necessity dictates the length of stay. Alcohol, minor doses of heroin, and prescription medications will all be detoxed. There is no cocaine or inhalant detox, and there is no methadone detox.
