Backus Center for Mental Health

Norwich, Connecticut’s Backus Center for Mental Health is a private facility. Backus Center for Mental Health focuses on mental health and substance abuse therapy. The Center for Mental Health (CMH) is the outpatient component of the Backus Hospital Department of Psychiatric Services’ comprehensive continuum of care. Individual and group examinations, therapy sessions, medication evaluations, and treatment visits are all available at CMH. A standard outpatient program, crisis intervention services, and an intensive outpatient program are all available at the Center.
